Guest accommodations include thirteen suites with lake views. The La Borromea Suite is on the top floor and often frequented by VIP guests, with private stairs, an elevator and a private jacuzzi pool overlooking the enchanting Lake Maggiore. Surrounded by the peaceful garden of Villa & Palazzo Aminta and hosted in a separate private cottage with a patio, private car parking and direct car access, the Villa Amintina rooms enjoy an astonishing view of Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands. There are four ground floor Amintina rooms with spacious private patios overlooking the lake, furnished with working desks and chairs, beautifully decorated with Murano lamps and a marble bathroom with jacuzzi tub and Acqua di Parma perks.
The Palazzo Aminta Beauty & Spa offers wellness care based on the energetic balance through a combination of massage, baths, movement, energy, relaxation and nutrition.

The beautiful lake setting, complemented by the Mediterranean-like gardens, takes center stage at the two gourmet restaurants. The Italian I Mori restaurant is a cosy circular gazebo made of crystal and wrought iron that allows amazing views of the lake and islands. Open daily for lunch and dinner, it offers fresh raw vegetables, premium quality food products and some really indulgent ‘sins’ from the typical regional Italian culinary heritage. The restaurant is suitable for 35 guests with seating for another 40 guests available in the panoramic garden.

The main Le Isole restaurant with its elegant halls, paintings, and stuccos, is the ideal place for events, celebrations or romantic candlelight dinners with excellent food and a magical atmosphere. Able to host up to 180 guests, with a panoramic terrace overlooking the lake and just in front of the Borromean gulf, it is open all day from breakfast through to dinner. The menu carries international dishes as well as typical Italian cuisine mixed with a variety of fine wines from the stocked cellar.
The outdoor pool of the resort is equipped with beach umbrellas and chaise lounges, overlooking the islands and lake. There is a private beach from where guests usually depart for exciting excursions by boat to the islands, or to practice their water skiing, watercrafts or parasailing skills.

The hotel provides a bicycle rental service for guests wanting to discover Stresa and its surrounds in a different way, additionally there is a concierge boat service for excursions and cultural visits to the historical remnants of the area.

The resort is surrounded by some of the most challenging and exclusive golf courses in Northern Italy and the lake region. For golf lovers, the 18 hole Des Iles Borromees golf course is just 5 minutes from the hotel and offers confidential green fees for in-house guests. Horseback riding, zip-lining and other recreational activities are also available. During the winter season, some of the main Swiss ski stations are close to Stresa and the Mottarone mountain skiing facilities are only 10 minutes away.
